Vande Bharat Train completes trial on Mathura-Nagda section

Indian Railways’ Vande Bharat train set has completed a high-speed trial at 180 kmph on the Mathura-Nagda section. The 16-coach train set was manufactured at the Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala. However, completing a trial at 180 kmph does not mean the train will run at that speed during regular services. Its permitted operating speed will depend on safety approvals.
