Vantara to welcome 3 African elephants after being approached by Tunisian zoo
Three African elephants, two females and one male, are being relocated to Anant Ambani-founded Vantara, a 3000-acre animal shelter in Gujarat's Jamnagar. This comes after a Tunisian zoo approached Vantara as it was reportedly struggling to meet the elephants' dietary, housing, and veterinary needs due to financial constraints. The elephants will arrive in India via a chartered cargo aircraft.
