Varamahalakshmi Vratam: Flower prices hit ₹6,000 in Bengaluru

Bengaluru's KR Market is witnessing a sharp rise in flower and fruit prices ahead of Varamahalakshmi Vratam. Kanakambhara prices have surged to ₹5,000-₹6,000 per kg, while jasmine, apples, pomegranates and other puja essentials have also become costlier. Despite the price hike, shoppers continue to throng the market to buy flowers and fruits for festival preparations.
