A thief carried out multiple break-in attempts in Varkala, stealing around 10 sovereigns of gold from a house in Punnamoodu. The incident occurred at night when only two girls were present. The accused fled after being spotted. Police suspect the same person behind several attempted burglaries in nearby areas and are investigating using CCTV footage.
