Varsities asked to make curriculum more employment oriented

The University Grants Commission has asked all Indian universities to review their curriculum in a bid to make students more employable. The universities were asked to urgently bridge the gap between the skill sets of the students and the jobs available in the market. It had been recommended that the universities' curricula should be reviewed every three years, UGC said.
