Varun has the ability to take a wicket almost every ball: Morkel

Ahead of their T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final against England, Team India bowling coach Morne Morkel praised spinner Varun Chakaravarthy, saying he has got the ability to take a wicket "almost every ball". Calling Chakaravarthy a "match-winner", Morkel said the 34-year-old wants to be a "big performer" for the team. Chakaravarthy has taken 12 wickets in the tournament so far.
