Vashu sues David Dhawan for ₹400 cr, seeks cancellation of 'Hai Jawani...' release

Vashu Bhagnani has filed a ₹400-crore lawsuit against Ramesh Taurani’s Tips Industries Limited and filmmaker David Dhawan over the alleged unauthorised use of songs from 'Biwi No.1' in Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai'. He sought urgent relief to restrain the film's release and promotional material featuring the disputed songs, 'Chunnari Chunnari' and 'Ishq Sona Hai'.
