In a recent discovery, scientists have unearthed fossil vertebrae in Gujarat, revealing the remains of the largest snake that ever lived. This colossal creature, called Vasuki Indicus, is believed to have been longer than the T-Rex. To put its size into perspective, consider that present-day anacondas and pythons, already considered significant, grow to about 6 metres (20 feet).
