The Vatican is launching an exorcism training course for priests amid a three-fold rise in the demand for services of exorcists in Italy. Priests attributed the increase in exorcism cases to a growing number of people seeking the services of fortune tellers and Tarot readers. Pope Francis officially recognised exorcism under canon law in 2014.
