VCK to split from DMK and join Vijay-led TVK alliance: Report

Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) will exit the DMK-led alliance and ally itself with the Vijay-led Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) government, a report by NDTV said citing sources. This comes after VCK President Thol Thirumavalavan extended support to TVK and said parties supporting Vijay "are unlikely to go back on their word". Earlier, MDMK withdrew from DMK-led alliance after nine years.
