Vedanta Aluminium hits record 649 KT output in Q2 FY27

Vedanta Aluminium reported its highest-ever quarterly aluminium production of 649 KT in Q2 FY27. Half-yearly output reached 1,281 KT. The company also posted record quarterly alumina production of 895 KT. BALCO commissioned the second zone of its 525 kA smelter potline, reaching 50% of planned 435 KTPA expansion capacity.
