Vedanta officials booked for blast that killed 20 in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh Police on Thursday registered an FIR against Vedanta management officials after a power plant blast killed 20 people and injured 16. The explosion took place on April 14 in Sakti district after a steel tube carrying high-pressure steam from the boiler to the turbine burst. Several workers at the plant suffered severe burn injuries due to the explosion.
