Vedanta set to raise ₹2,575 crore through 3-year bond sale
Vedanta is set to raise ₹2,575 crore through a three-year bond sale, at a coupon rate of about 8.95%. The issue, arranged by Barclays and Citigroup, was placed with institutional investors, including ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund and Kotak Mutual Fund. The company's base issue of ₹2,000 crore was oversubscribed last week, prompting it to use a ₹575 crore greenshoe option.
