Vedanta surpasses Tata Steel in total market capitalisation

Vedanta’s valuation climbed to ₹2,86,240 crore, while Tata Steel stood at ₹2,70,206 crore. However, Tata Steel leads with ₹1.77 lakh crore free float market capitalisation. Vedanta reported ₹7,807 crore profit after tax, surging 60%. Supported by record production, its EBITDA margin expanded to 41%, with Q3FY26 EBITDA reaching ₹15,171 crore, up 34% year on year.
