Vedanta to invest ₹1.9 lakh cr in 3-5 yrs, to list 4 new companies
Vedanta plans investing nearly $20 billion (over ₹1.9 lakh crore) over three to five years to deepen its presence in India's natural resources sector, Chairman Anil Agarwal said. The company, which recently received approvals for its demerger, expects the new entities to go public by next month. The restructuring is aimed at allowing each business to grow independently, Agarwal said.
