Vegetable vendor scams several people of ₹21 cr with work-from-home jobs, arrested

A 27-year-old man, who sold vegetables before the COVID-19 pandemic, was arrested for allegedly cheating several people with fake work-from-home jobs and earning ₹21 crore. Police said the accused, Rishabh Sharma, of Gurugram was involved in 37 cases of fraud filed across 10 states, TOI reported. Police said the money was sent to China in the form of crypto.
