Venezuela will turn over up to 50 million barrels of oil to US, I'll control the money: Trump

After capturing Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, US President Donald Trump said Venezuela will be turning over between 30 million and 50 million barrels of oil worth $2 billion to US. "This oil will be sold at its market price, and that money will be controlled by me," wrote Trump on Truth Social. Oil prices saw a decline after Trump's announcement.
