Venezuelans who moved to US send prison mail with memes to mock Maduro in jail

Multiple online posts went viral showing a prison mail reportedly sent to captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro at his US jail. The letter shows a laughing cat's meme, with the caption, "The Venezuelans wish you a happy New Year." It also contained anonymous messages, which said, "You should've dedicated yourself...to being a comedian," and "Who's the eagle...and who's the fly?"
