Venkatesh gave ultimatum he'll be sad if we didn't pick him: KKR

KKR CEO Venky Mysore revealed Venkatesh Iyer had given them "ultimatum" that he would be "sad" if they didn't pick him in IPL 2025 auction. "So we didn't want him to be sad, and we're also very happy," Venky stated. Iyer was bought by KKR for ₹23.75 crore. He scored 370 runs in 15 games in IPL 2024.
