Ventilator demand makes Singapore's richest man richer by $3.7 billion this year
Singapore's richest man Li Xiting added $3.7 billion to his net worth this year after shares of his company surged 41% driven by a surge in demand for ventilators. He is the Chairman of Chinese medical equipment maker Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics, which makes 3,000 ventilators a month. Li currently has a $12.7 billion fortune, according to Bloomberg.
