Verification patrolling underway: MEA on troops disengaging at LAC

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said the process of verification patrolling had commenced at Demchok and Depsang Plains along Line of Actual Control (LAC). The disengagement process between Indian and Chinese troops was completed on October 30 after the countries reached an agreement on border patrolling arrangements. The countries earlier clashed in Galwan in 2020.
