Verify people with govt ID: Maha Police to BookMyShow after Coldplay, Diljit ticket case

Maharashtra Police instructed BookMyShow to verify attendees' identities using at least one government-issued ID card on the day of the event. This comes after FIRs were registered regarding fraudulent sale of tickets for Coldplay and Diljit Dosanjh's concerts. Police has also directed BookMyShow to print attendees' names on tickets or bands or incorporate names into the RFID band's QR code.
