Verizon completes Yahoo acquisition in over $4 billion deal

Verizon on Tuesday completed its acquisition of Yahoo in a deal worth $4.48 billion (nearly ₹29,000 crore). Following this, Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer has resigned and Yahoo Internet operations will be now integrated into a new unit called Oath, which also includes brands like AOL and Huffington Post. The new unit will be overseen by former AOL CEO Tim Armstrong.
