Verka Milk Plant chairman reinstated after 5-year legal battle

Harwinder Singh Sarai resumed charge as Chairman of Verka Milk Plant, Hoshiarpur, on Wednesday, following court orders after a five-year legal battle. Appointed in 2021, he was suspended after AAP came to power. The Punjab and Haryana High Court directed his reinstatement, and he took charge per Deputy Registrar's subsequent orders.
