Verstappen out of Monaco GP on opening lap after power unit issue

Red Bull's Max Verstappen was forced to retire from the Monaco GP on the opening lap after his car encountered a power unit problem. "The formation lap wasn't going very well, after that the pre-start was terrible, there was no consistency and then the engine just dropped dead," Verstappen said. The four-time champion had qualified P2 for the Monaco GP.
