Veteran Malayalam lyricist S Ramesan Nair passes away at 73

Veteran Malayalam lyricist-poet S Ramesan Nair passed away on June 18 at the age of 73 in Kochi, Kerala. Nair, a cancer patient, was undergoing COVID-19 treatment at a hospital, as per reports. Condoling his demise, CM Pinarayi Vijayan said, "His demise is a huge loss to the Malayalam language and literature...His work on 'Sree Narayana Guru' has timeless value."
