Veteran Scientist, Professor Yash Pal passes away at 90

Professor Yash Pal, a renowned scientist, passed away at 90 on Monday night in a Noida hospital. Pal was awarded Padma Bhushan in 1976 and Padma Vibhushan in 2013. He was known for his contribution to the study of cosmic rays at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. He also featured in a famous science series, 'Turning Point', on Doordarshan.
