Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Ashok Singhal (89) passed away at a hospital in Gurgaon on Tuesday. Singhal, one of the foremost leaders of the Ram temple movement in the early 90s, was diagnosed with pneumonia and had shown no improvement after being on ventilator since November 14. He served as international working president of the VHP for over 20 years.
