Vice Admiral Sanjay Jasjit Singh to be new Vice Chief of Navy

Vice Admiral Sanjay Jasjit Singh will take over as the new Vice Chief of Naval Staff on Sunday, officials said. He will succeed Vice Admiral SN Ghormade, who retired on Friday after over 39 years of service in Navy. Singh, who is a graduate of National Defence Academy, was earlier holding charge of Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (ops).
