Victory for justice: Goa CM on Tejpal's conviction in rape case

After Bombay HC on Thursday convicted Tehelka magazine founder Tarun Tejpal in a rape case, Goa CM Pramod Sawant hailed the verdict as "victory for justice". "This case happened in Goa...it was Goa Police and government's responsibility to consistently follow it up...saluting the survivor's courage," Sawant said. Tejpal was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment for raping his junior colleague.
