Video explores northernmost town on earth

An 8-minute video explores Longyearbyen, the northernmost "real town" on earth and the largest town on the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard. Located 1,300 kilometres from the North Pole, Longyearbyen has over 2,000 residents. Its average day-time high temperature is below freezing for eight months of the year, and from October end to mid-February, the sun does not rise at all.
