Video shows 15,000 women participating in 'Saree Walkathon' in Guj

Over 15,000 women participated in 'Saree Walkathon' in Gujarat's Surat on Sunday to promote fitness and raise awareness about women empowerment. Foreign students wearing sarees also participated in the 3-km-long walkathon, which was flagged off by union minister Darshana Jardosh, state Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi and others. A video showed women dancing to Gujarati songs played at the event.
