Video shows American Airlines plane tyre exploding on Tampa runway

An American Airlines flight from Tampa narrowly avoided disaster when one of its tyres exploded on the runway just before takeoff. Video footage shows Flight 590, bound for Phoenix, with its right tyre bursting and causing fire sparks. The plane was stopped at end of the runway where emergency vehicles arrived, and passengers were safely evacuated. No injuries were reported.
