Video shows Bahraich violence accused shot in encounter, say 'Fired at police, made a mistake'

A video has surfaced, showing policemen taking two men, Sarfaraz and Talib, accused in Bahraich communal violence after they were injured in an encounter. When a policeman asked why they fired at the police team, one of the injured accused could be heard saying, "We wanted to escape and fired at the police...made a mistake, sir."
