Video shows elephants crossing road while vehicles wait patiently

Forest officials in West Bengal’s Bagdogra halted traffic to let a herd of wild elephants cross a busy road safely. A video showed the elephants crossing one after another as vehicles waited. Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav praised the effort, saying, "That’s how we protect people and wildlife together." The incident highlighted responsible behaviour around wildlife habitats.
