Houthis in slippers seen celebrating after defeating Saudi Arabia & capturing Yemen coast

Iran-backed Houthi fighters, who have defeated Saudi-backed pro-government forces and taken control of Yemen’s entire Red Sea coastline, were seen chanting in celebration. Most of them were seen wearing slippers/sandals. Their rapid advance expanded their control over Yemeni side of Bab el-Mandeb, a critical chokepoint for global shipping linking the Gulf of Aden to Red Sea and Suez Canal.
