Video shows India's first 3D printed post office inaugurated in Bengaluru
India’s first 3D printed post office was inaugurated by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Friday in Bengaluru. Spread over 1,000 square feet, the post office has been constructed by L&T within 45 days. Unlike traditional construction methods, 3D printing uses computer-aided design (CAD) to create layer-by-layer construction of the building using specialised 3D printers.
