Video shows Israeli officer throwing grenade into Palestinian car

Viral footage from the Qalandiya checkpoint shows an Israeli border police officer throwing a flashbang into a Palestinian vehicle and holding the door shut as smoke filled the car. The two passengers escaped through the opposite door, after which the officer appeared to fire his rifle as they fled. The officer has been suspended after police said his actions violated protocol.
