Video shows Kerala snake rescuer being bitten by cobra, condition critical

Vava Suresh, the snake handler and rescuer from Kerala, has been hospitalised and is critical after being bitten by a cobra, which he was trying to place in a gunny bag in Kottayam on Monday. A video of the incident also surfaced online. Suresh has reportedly been on a ventilator twice and has survived snake bites in the past.
