Video shows LCA Tejas trainer aircraft carry out its first flight

The first series production standard LCA Tejas trainer aircraft made its maiden flight on Wednesday. Flown by Group Captain KK Venugopal and Wing Commander Pratyush Awasthi, the aircraft completed a sortie of around 35 minutes successfully, a video of which has been released. Its manufacturer, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, described the development as "a major milestone in the LCA Tejas Program".
