Video shows metal bridge ripping apart amid flash flood in Uttarakhand

A metal bridge in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district was swept away by a swollen river following heavy rain and flash floods. A video showed a powerful surge of muddy water hitting the bridge and quickly dislodging it. A truck and an SUV travelling along a nearby road appeared to turn away moments before the bridge got washed away.
