Elon Musk's Neuralink shared a video showing implant recipients using thoughts to control cursor movements and operate a wheelchair. Recipients navigated the wheelchair using a live camera feed, driving forward, reversing, steering and adjusting the seat. The system uses over 1,000 electrodes in the motor cortex, with AI decoding neural signals into precise control commands in real time.
