People gathered to greet PM Narendra Modi despite heavy rain during his roadshow in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur, a video of which has surfaced online. PM Modi was in Gorakhpur to attend the centenary celebrations of Gita Press. Apart from flagging off the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat train, he also laid the foundation stone of the ₹498-crore Gorakhpur railway station redevelopment project.
