PM Modi, German Chancellor seen flying kite depicting Lord Hanuman in Ahmedabad

A video showed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz flying a kite depicting Lord Hanuman at the International Kite Festival 2026 in Ahmedabad on Monday. Merz, who is on his first official visit to India, was earlier welcomed by PM Modi in the city, after which both the leaders visited the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad.
