Video shows portion of road on Mumbai-Goa Highway collapsing due to heavy rain

A portion of a newly constructed road built near the Visava River in the Mahad area on the Mumbai-Goa Highway collapsed due to heavy rain. A video of the incident has also surfaced on social media. Various districts of Maharashtra are witnessing heavy rains leading IMD to issue an orange alert for Thane, Palghar, Raigad and Ratnagiri.
