The woman Sarpanch of Darba Kalan village in Haryana has been booked for allegedly indulging in celebratory firing, police said on Thursday. This comes after a viral video purportedly showed Santosh Beniwal dancing with two other women and firing in the air with a pistol. Notably, Beniwal was elected as Sarpanch last week.
