Video shows women performing 'Talwar Raas' in MP's Jabalpur

A video showed women performing the sword dance "Talwar Raas" in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur. The performance combined cultural traditions with shastra pujan, or weapon worship, to honour heritage and highlight women's valour while promoting self-defence skills. Dressed in colourful traditional Rajput attire, the women, including young girls, wielded swords in synchronised formations.
