Vidhu Vinod Chopra reveals how LK Advani helped him in his struggling days

In a book titled ‘Unscripted’, filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra revealed that senior politician Lal Krishna Advani once helped him with ₹4,000 and also made him a member of the FTII Governing Council to help him financially. Chopra also talked about how Advani helped him get a passport to attend Oscars in Los Angeles in 1979, where his documentary was nominated.
