Vidya Balan and French actress Mélanie Laurent have reportedly joined Ritesh Batra's untitled film starring Saif Ali Khan, following Priyanka Chopra's exit due to scheduling conflicts. The love story set within a family framework is currently being shot in Mumbai. Casting for the female lead is still being finalised, with two actresses in contention.
