Vietnam petrol prices spike by 20% overnight amid shortage fears
The cost of petrol rose by over 20% in Vietnam after the government announced an overnight hike amid fears of oil and gas shortages caused by the Iran-US war. Petrol reached 30,690 Vietnamese dong (₹109) per litre, while diesel rose nearly 34% to 33,420 dong (₹118) per litre. The aviation authority also warned of a possible reduction in domestic flights.
